The Aurin Girls\u2019 Choir has received yet another prestigious international invitation: in July 2025, the ensemble will represent Hungary at the World Choir Festival \u2013 Hong Kong, a world-class choral event.<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”||2px|||” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]Organized by the World Youth and Children Choral Artists\u2019 Association (WYCCAA), the festival brings together leading choirs and internationally recognized choral experts from across the globe. The hosts of the event are Artistic Director Prof. Leon Tong and Jury Chair Prof. CHAN Wing-wah, with the jury consisting of acclaimed choir leaders and music professionals from over 30 countries. The Aurin Girls\u2019 Choir will appear alongside such esteemed ensembles as the Inner Mongolia Youth Choir (China), the Resonanz Children\u2019s Choir (Indonesia), and Zero 8 (Sweden).<\/p>\n This invitation is rooted in a long-standing professional relationship. L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Dur\u00e1nyik, who will serve as a jury member at the festival, has collaborated with the event\u2019s organizers, including Prof. Leon Tong, on various international workshops and masterclasses over the years. This relationship was further strengthened in the summer of 2024, when the Good Hope School Choir \u2013 one of Hong Kong\u2019s finest \u2013 gave a joint concert with the Aurin Girls\u2019 Choir at the Kod\u00e1ly School in Kecskem\u00e9t. As part of their European tour, the Hong Kong choir visited Hungary, resulting in an unforgettable evening of musical and personal connection between the two choirs.<\/p>\n The diverse program of the Hong Kong festival \u2013 including choir competitions, interactive workshops, masterclasses, and large-scale concerts \u2013 represents both an exciting challenge and a unique opportunity for the Aurin Girls\u2019 Choir to once again demonstrate its artistic excellence on the international stage.
