Somium Laude Chamber Choir

The Somnium Laude Chamber Choir was founded in 2002, formed by members of the Aurin Girls’ Choir and male students from the Kodály School. The ensemble was created to give our high school choir members the opportunity to experience performing in a mixed choir setting. The choir operates periodically, primarily performing at festivals, special occasions, and major events of the Aurin choral family, such as the annual Christmas concerts where they are a regular feature. As a small and flexible formation, Somnium Laude also performs chamber music and appears at intimate church services and ceremonial events. Their repertoire spans a broad musical spectrum, from Renaissance pieces to contemporary works.
