How Can You Help?

As a volunteer, you can support our work in various areas – we’re looking for enthusiastic supporters to help with the following tasks:

Organizational and Administrative Tasks

Behind every successful concert and event, there is precise planning and smooth administration – areas in which our volunteers play a key role. We’re looking for support in the following tasks:

Tour planning

  • Coordinating and organizing both international and domestic tours

  • Scheduling performances and preparing contracts

  • Booking transportation (buses, trains, or other modes)

  • Arranging accommodation and maintaining contact with hosts

  • Coordinating meal requirements and booking restaurants or catering services

  • Preparing tour programs and daily itineraries

  • Liaising with international partner choirs and festival organizers

Managing local concerts and concert series

  • Communicating with venues and coordinating technical requirements

  • Organizing ticket sales and checking tickets at events

  • Selling CDs, merchandise, and programs at concert venues

  • Coordinating special events such as holiday concerts or season openers

  • Preparing venue decorations and stage props

  • Scheduling rehearsals and securing appropriate locations

  • Maintaining communication with performers and hosts

  • Organizing post-concert meet-and-greets or VIP receptions

These organizational tasks offer volunteers a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into the behind-the-scenes operations of musical events, develop new skills, and actively contribute to the success of our choirs – even from backstage.

Tender writing and project coordination

National and international grant writing and implementation is one of the foundation’s most important focus areas, ensuring that our projects can come to life. We rely on our volunteers in the following tasks:

  • Tender writing:
Assisting in the preparation of grant applications, supporting the professional presentation of the foundation’s and choirs’ activities, contributing to the development of budget plans.
  • Monitoring:
Tracking the status of submitted proposals, maintaining communication with funding organizations.
  • Implementation:
Coordinating tasks related to awarded grants, supporting financial reporting and the preparation of final reports, assisting in the organization of project-related events.

This area is especially exciting for those interested in administrative work, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving.

Media and creative tasks

Documenting our events and maintaining a strong visual identity are key to shaping the foundation’s image. We are looking for volunteers to support us in the following creative areas:

  • Photography and videography at events:
Capturing moments at concerts, rehearsals, and events using professional or amateur equipment. These recordings support both internal documentation and external communication.
  • Video editing and post-production:
Editing short promotional videos or full-length concert recordings, enhancing content with music, titles, and captions.
  • Audio Recording:
Recording choir rehearsals or performances and preparing audio for use or archiving.

These tasks are ideal for those who enjoy working creatively and want to develop their visual or technical skills in a meaningful artistic environment.

Communication and technical support

Effective communication and maintaining a strong online presence are essential for the success of our choirs. Volunteers play a key role in supporting us through the following tasks:

  • Website maintenance:
Keeping concert, event, and news sections up to date.
Showcasing new projects, partners, and achievements.
Creating and updating photo and video galleries.
  • English translations:
Translating project documents, event descriptions, and promotional materials to help us reach our international audience and partners.
  • Newsletter preparation and distribution:
Compiling and sending regular electronic newsletters to inform supporters, partners, and audiences about upcoming events, recent achievements, and opportunities.
  • Social media management:
Creating posts for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Designing and sharing creative content including images, short videos, and stories.
Promoting events and engaging with the community (e.g., responding to comments and questions).
  • Online event support:
Providing technical support for online concerts, workshops, or live streams.
Setting up and operating streaming software.
  • Graphic design:
Creating simple graphic materials such as posters, invitations, and social media visuals using Canva or other tools.
  • Technical event support:
Setting up and operating projectors, microphones, and sound equipment during rehearsals or events.
  • Supporting fundraising campaigns:
Assisting with the promotion of online and offline fundraising initiatives.
Preparing donor updates and thank-you letters.

This area is ideal for those who are detail-oriented, technically skilled, and enjoy contributing to online communication and behind-the-scenes operations.

Merchandise and equipment management

Managing merchandise and performance accessories is not only a practical task but also a creative one that contributes to the financial sustainability of our foundation. Volunteers can support us in the following areas

    • Ordering and selling merchandise: Selecting, ordering, and managing stock of items such as CDs, T-shirts, and other products for concerts and the webshop.
    • Webshop Maintenance: Updating webshop content, processing orders, and tracking sales and inventory.
    • Performance attire coordination: Communicating with seamstresses, placing orders for performance attire, coordinating measurements, and distributing finished garments.
    • Folder orders and organization: Ordering, distributing, tracking, and maintaining sheet music folders and choir binders.

This area is ideal for those who enjoy organizing, managing logistics, and handling hands-on, practical tasks.

    Who are we looking for?

You can become one of our volunteers if you’re eager to support our behind-the-scenes work and open to learning new tasks. We welcome members of our audience, parents, former and current choir members, and anyone who would like to contribute to making our programs even more successful and memorable.
