EXCEPTIONAL MUSICAL EXPERIENCES

The Aurin and Miraculum Foundation was established in 2015 to support the concert organization, music education and talent development work connected to the Aurin-Miraculum Choir Family.

The choir family provides outstanding musical training for around 200 children and young people across five different choirs.

SINGING AROUND THE WORLD

With the support of our foundation, the choirs not only perform at major venues in Hungary, but also go on two or three international tours each year.

We have sung in prestigious concert halls such as the Liszt Academy and Müpa in Budapest, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Musikverein in Vienna and Westminster Abbey in London.

FAMILY CONCERT SERIES

Our mission is to inspire children to enjoy making music, listening to music, and attending concerts regularly. The Miraculum Concert Series is designed primarily for the young singers in our choirs and their families. These performances offer a warm, informal atmosphere, where performers often share personal stories and experiences between pieces, creating a meaningful connection with the audience.

CONCERTS IN SMALL COMMUNITIES

Each year, we visit towns and villages where choral music – and classical music in general – are rarely heard. We believe everyone should have access to live musical experiences, and we hope our presence helps foster a deeper appreciation for music and encourages more people to become active participants in music-making over time.

COURSES & WORKSHOPS

Thanks to decades of experience, László Durányik and our choirs are invited four to five times a year to international programs offering workshops and courses on choral singing, conducting, and music education inspired by the legacy of Zoltán Kodály. We also regularly host demonstration lessons and rehearsals for visiting professionals from around the world.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

Our foundation frequently participates in or initiates international projects focused on music education, lifelong learning, the musical development of disadvantaged groups, and intercultural exchange. These projects prioritize non-formal education and innovative teaching methods, promoting inclusion and creativity through music.
